Thank you for choosing WeTrip – Share & Split Costs (“WeTrip”, “App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the developer. Please read them carefully, along with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. Your use constitutes electronic acceptance of these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction without parental consent) to use the App. If you are under this age, you must have parental or guardian consent.
For users in the EU, you must be at least 16 years old to use the App without parental consent.
We may update these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted at https://hoangphuong167vn.github.io/wetrip-policy/terms-of-service. Your continued use of the App after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you in-app of material changes where possible.
You represent that you are eligible to use the App and comply with all applicable laws. WeTrip uses a local user system that doesn’t require registration. You can use the app with a default user profile or create a custom profile for personalization. The app stores your user information locally on your device.
You are responsible for all activities conducted through your device while using the App.
The App, including all content, features, design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws worldwide.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

If you provide feedback or suggestions about the App, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback without compensation.
If the App allows you to input content (e.g., trip details, expenses, friend lists, “User Content”), you retain ownership but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, and display such User Content solely to provide the Services.
User Content includes trip details, expense records, friend information, and fund transactions. All data is processed and stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or shared with other users.
You are responsible for your User Content and warrant that it does not infringe third-party rights or violate laws. We may remove or modify User Content at our discretion but are not obligated to monitor it.
WeTrip stores all data locally on your device. There are no sharing features that transmit data to servers or other users. All trip data, expenses, and friend information remain private and local to your device.
You agree not to:

You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations, including U.S. export laws, when using the App. You may not use the App in any country or region that is subject to export restrictions.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WeTrip and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:
The App offers in-app purchases and subscriptions (“Purchases”) for premium features, processed through third-party platforms:
Free users can create up to 3 trips. Premium subscribers get unlimited trips and expenses, along with advanced features.
Prices are displayed in the App and may change. You agree to pay all fees using a valid payment method. All Purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law or platform policies.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price shown in the App.
Your subscription is managed through RevenueCat and may be available across devices where you’re signed in with the same platform account (Apple ID or Google account).
If you start a free trial, any unused portion will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription (if applicable). Free trials are available for new subscribers only and are subject to the terms of the trial offer as stated in the app.
You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time:
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their policies. Contact them directly for refund requests.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes on Purchases.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or any Purchases at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms. We will provide reasonable notice when possible, except in cases of serious violations or legal requirements.
Upon termination, your license to use the App ends, and you must cease all use. Sections that by nature survive (e.g., Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability) remain in effect.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES.
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (E.G., APPLE, GOOGLE, REVENUECAT) OR ANY CONTENT YOU ACCESS VIA THE APP.
THE APP IS FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL DECISIONS MADE USING THE APP.
WeTrip is a personal finance tracking tool only. It does not process payments, hold funds, or facilitate money transfers between users. All financial data entered in the App is for personal record-keeping purposes only. WeTrip and its developer are not liable for any loss, dispute, or misunderstanding arising from shared expenses or informal transactions between users.
The App is not a financial institution, payment processor, or banking service. Users are solely responsible for settling debts and managing financial relationships with other users.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 IF NO PAYMENT WAS MADE.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, where the developer is located. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Da Nang, Vietnam.
Note: As a solo developer based in Vietnam, Vietnamese law applies. If you are located outside Vietnam, you may have additional rights under your local laws that cannot be waived by these Terms.
You agree to waive any right to class actions or jury trials to the extent permitted by applicable law. For global users, disputes may be resolved through arbitration under Vietnamese law.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (see Contact Us section below) or as detailed in the Privacy Policy. Withdrawal of consent may affect your ability to use certain features of the App.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
We may assign these Terms without your consent. You may not assign without our written consent.
Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.
We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, wars).

The App is intended for use worldwide. By using the App, you represent that you are not located in a country that is subject to export restrictions or sanctions. We comply with applicable laws in the jurisdictions where we operate, including data protection laws such as GDPR in the EU and CCPA in California.
If you are located outside Vietnam, you may have additional rights under your local laws that cannot be waived by these Terms. Vietnamese users are subject to Vietnamese data protection and consumer laws.
